Just to keep this thread up-to-date:

The dokuwiki's integration is now in its betatesting-phase. It's possible to view it within the gamepage and view/edit it within the dokuwiki. (moOshiE, do you want to make a skin for it too, or do you think we don't need a skin?)

Please, only edit your member page and do not edit/add any other pages, as I'm in the progress of migrating the content from the current dokuwiki to that new one.

As I said, this is betatesting, you'll definitely find bugs, inconsistencies or esthetic errors/wishes (nearly no CSS done yet). Please report anything you find!

How does it works with the different languages? Have we to rename the pages like "bla.de" , "bla.fr"?

You're close to it.

The folders you see in the menu of the dokuwiki are called "namespaces" (but they are really just folders). As you might already know, the full path to a document is something like this:

gamedesign:units:humans:dude

where "gamedesign", "units" and "humans" are namespaces, and the page is called "dude". Replace the ":" by a "/" and it looks like a file path ;-)

Now we will have a main-namespace for each language, giving us:

en:gamedesign:units:humans:dude - the english version
fr:gamedesign:units:humans:dude - the french version
etc. And there is a nice plugin to work with it this way ;-)

To answer your questions in the email, look at the library page in english, that's the way I wanted to do it. Most of the things are already like you proposed them: A listing of everything found in the game, grouped into categories. The library is already an own namespace ("subfolder") in the wiki, like you proposed it too :-p And the integration currently can say what namespace to show (as you proposed it too), that's what the library does (if you just leave out the &article=...).

So we are really thinking the same way :-)
